  1. DO NOT BUY THE BATTERY HE SHOWED IN THE VIDEO. THEY DO NOT FIT IN THE GAMEBOY PROPERLY AND THEY DO NOT MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS LISTED ON THE WEBSITE.

The problem with any of these modded screens is that they add at least a frame of input latency. Unfortunately, nobody makes an IPS screen that'll accept the GBA's native output without a frame buffer.

  3. Does anyone know where I can buy a already modded Gameboy sp looking for one for my kids I think they'll love it

The better thing about the og Gameboy SP screen is it works great outdoors or in brightly lit area and that's the only thing led screens are bad at

  5. I’m so happy I remembered which tutorial video to watch. I’m back to this one with a new IPS V2 for a beat up scratched gba sp I got for $20. I can’t wait to repeat the same magic. The last one was a gift for my cousin and man he was blown away. Thanks for the fantastic video. It made everything so easy

how can i know what my gba sp is ? im not sure if its 001 or 101 i dont have the box or the label behind ?

My modded screen, which has been running fine, just started turning a pinkish hue. Wondering if something is going on. Where do I start to diagnose the problem?

  8. I bought a game boy SP from a retro game store, I noticed that the back of the SP I bought has

    “eXtreme Rate®

    MODEL NO. AGS-001/101”

I wonder which version I have since the labels have the two versions that were released
